In a significant move, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) disclosed its lineup of candidates set to contend in the upcoming National Assembly elections scheduled for February 8. Chairman Gohar Ali Khan himself will be vying for the seat in NA-10 Buner.
According to an official PTI notification, the party has strategically assigned tickets to various candidates for different constituencies. The roster includes Abdul Latif for NA-1, Dr. Amjad for NA-2, Mehboob Shah for NA-6, Bashir Khan for NA-7, and Guldad Khan for NA-8.
Junaid Akbar is set to represent PTI in NA-9, Nawaz Khan in NA-11, Ghulam Saeed in NA-12, Prince Nawaz Khan in NA-13, Umer Ayub in NA-18, and former speaker Asad Qaisar in NA-19.
Meanwhile, prominent PTI leaders, namely Ali Muhammad Khan, Shehryar Afridi, Shandana Gulzar, Sher Afzal Marwat, and Ali Ameen Gandapur, have been slated as candidates for NA-23, NA-35, NA-30, NA-41, and NA-44, respectively.
On the provincial front, Taimur Jhagra, Kamran Bangash, Mina Khan, Akbar Ayub, and Arshad Ayub have been nominated as candidates for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly.
Moreover, the party has made public a comprehensive list of 297 candidates set to represent PTI in the Punjab Assembly, accessible on its official website
