Commencing January 1, 2024, citizens of Punjab will be required to pay Rs. 500 annually for their driving license. How to Apply for a Learner Driving License in Punjab:
Here is a step-by-step guide to applying online for a Learner Driving License in Punjab:
Step 1: Visit the Driving License Information Management System (DLIMS) website of the Punjab Government at https://dlims.punjab.gov.pk/login
Step 2: If you are applying for the first time, click on Create Your Account and register for DLIMS. Otherwise, enter your email ID and password to login.
Step 3: Click on New Learner / Renew Learner as per your requirement and fill out the form with your personal details.
Step 4: Upload your picture, CNIC front and back, and click on the Submit button.
Step 5: Pay the application fee through PSID (will be generated after submission) using JazzCash, EasyPaisa, and 1Link Bank ATMs.
New Learner Driving License Fee in Punjab:
The Punjab Government has revised the learner driving license fee from January 01, 2024. The learner Driving License fee will be Rs. 500/-, and previously it was Rs. 60/- only. Residents of the Punjab province can now get their Learner Driving License from anywhere through DLIMS by paying the fee online.
How to Pay Learner Driving License Fee Online:
Citizens of Punjab who are getting an Online Learner Driving License can now easily pay their license fee online using banking apps. 1Link member branches, JazzCash, or EasyPaisa are collecting fees.
1. Visit the nearest ATM / 1Link member bank with your ATM card / Master Card.
2. Select GoPb from the menu under the Bill Payment option.
3. Enter the 17-digit PSID; the due amount against PSID will automatically be fetched and displayed on the ATM screen / app screen.
4. Press the 'Pay / Submit' button, and a successful transaction message will appear on the screen.
Driving License Centers in Punjab:
To provide facilities to Punjab residents, the Government of Punjab has increased the number of Driving Test Centers from 46 to 1300. Licensing facilities are available at police stations, Highway Patrol Police Posts, and Police Service Centers.
